Delete data
This page explains how to delete your data from the Android app PDF Toolkit by DHI Infotech.
We don't hold your data
PDF Toolkit has no accounts and no servers. Your documents, scans and signatures are processed and stored only on your phone, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. You can delete everything yourself, straight away:
How to delete your data
Files you created: open My files, tap ⋮ next to a file and choose Delete. Files are also deleted automatically after 7 days.
Recent files list: on the home screen, tap Clear next to Recent files.
Temporary files: open Settings → Clear working files.
Everything at once (including your saved signature and settings): uninstall the app, or open your phone's Settings → Apps → PDF Toolkit → Storage → Clear storage.
Data collected by Google for ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects your advertising ID, IP address and ad interactions. We cannot delete this data because we never receive it. To control it:
Reset or delete your advertising ID: phone Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Change your ad consent (EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland): in the app, Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Google keeps this data according to the Google Privacy Policy, where you can also ask Google to delete it.
Subscription records
If you bought PDF Toolkit Pro, Google Play keeps the purchase record, and we receive order details (order number, product, date, price and country) that we must keep for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription: cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
